Is it bad to have one grade of D+, two grades of C+, and three of A+?

The answer to this really depends on how you define “good” when it comes to your grades.  Is it acceptable to you (and/or your parents) if you have a relatively high grade point average (GPA) but are doing very poorly in one class?  Would it be better if you had decent, but not great, grades in all of your classes?  This is a matter of opinion.

On the one hand, these grades would give you a pretty good GPA by most people’s standards.  I have never taught at a school that actually gave A+ as a grade that is different from an A.  However, if your school does, I imagine that each A+ is worth 4.3 grade points.  Typically a D+ is 1.3 grade points and a C+ is 2.3.  If you use these numbers, you end up with 18.8 grade points.  When you divide this by your six classes, you end up with a 3.13 GPA, which is slightly above a B average.  Even if your school only gives As and not A+s, you would have 17.9 grade points for a GPA just under 3.  For many people, a B average is not a bad thing.

However, it is easy to imagine that someone might be dissatisfied with getting a D+ (and perhaps even C+s) in any circumstances.  I know that if my 9th grade daughter got grades like this, I would not be happy.  I would expect her to do at least B work in every class because I know that there is no class that she can take as a 9th grader that would be so hard that she could do her best and still get a D.

I think this all comes down to your honest view of how you are doing compared to how you could be doing.  Is there some legitimate reason that you cannot do better in those three classes?  If you are truly doing your best in every class, then these are good grades.  You cannot be expected to do better than your best.  If you are studying, getting extra help, and paying attention in class and you still get these grades, then this could be a good set of grades for you.  On the other hand, if you are being lazy because you do not like those three classes, then this is not a good set of grades.

What is the meaning of "juggling fiends" in Macbeth?

Macbeth is beginning to realize that the three witches have been deceiving him since he first encountered them. Like jugglers, they have kept changing their forecasts in order create confusion. Discuss movements that were inspired by the Civil Rights Movement and list one success for each group.

African-Americans contributed in a very big way during World War II. These contributions were demonstrated at home and on the battlefield. After the war, African-Americans properly felt it was time for them to achieve equality with white Americans. During the 1950's, the modern Civil Rights Movement was born and it had a number of successes (integration of the military and Brown vs. Board of Education as examples.) This success inspired other activists to demand change... African-Americans contributed in a very big way during World War II. These contributions were demonstrated at home and on the battlefield. What are some tensions between men and women in Shakespeare's Julius Caesar?

Julius Caesar is a largely male-driven play. Calpurnia and Portia are the two main female characters, and they are both wives of major characters. Calpurnia is Julius Caesar’s wife. She makes public appearances with him, but there may be some awkwardness between them because of her inability to have children. He publicly tells Antony to touch Calpurnia to cure her of barrenness when he runs the Lupercal, a “holy race” and fertility festival. Calpurnia has... Julius Caesar is a largely male-driven play.
